A problem we sometimes have withsome of the fit-pc’s (2 & 2i) is that the pc gets stuck un the startup repair (system resore) menu when there is a power failure during the startup of windows 7.

As we only have a USB screen connected the screen stays black & the user does not see the error message -> the pc does not start up

Is there a way (BIOS setting?) to avoid the system resore question? (by default a system resore is not wanted)

As far as I remember there is no such option but I will double check.

if there is not a way avoid the system resore question when there is a power failure during the startup of windows maybe it is possible to connect a small battery to the fit-pc2(i) that the fit-pc2(i) sees as an 'internal' battery?

We may have a better solution coming. Why at all lose power?
