I recently received my new Fit-PC2. (fit-PC2-D1gG-C1600-W-H-XL).

The grub bootloader menu shows (after options to boot to Mint Linux) two entries: Memory test (memtest 86+) and Memory test (memtest 86+, serial console 115200). When I select any of these memory test options, I receive the following error message:

error: too small lower memory (0x99100>0x90000).

Does this indicate a hardware problem?

Update: Some googling indicates this is not a hardware (RAM) problem but a BIOS issue:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=549429
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=319837

So, I just ignore this issue and instead enable the RAM test option in BIOS.
