Hi,
I know samsung evo "840" msata 500gb is suitable for IPC2, but can it also support "850's" 500gb?

I see no reason why EVO 850 should not work. mSATA in IPC2 is perfectly standard.
Maybe other forum users have tested EVO 850 on IPC2 and can confirm that.
