Is the wifi module of XA10 inside the chassis or is it a detachable USB dongle outside the chassis?

WiFi in fitlet-X is external. Actually the is a mechanism to make it non detachable.

Just got mine delivered.

The wireless dongle looks like a usb thing with a hard antenna that is attached. not sure how you lock it on ?

WiFi can be locked in using an internal screw under the connector. We will soon offer it as part of a kit.
