Can I install Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS on my Fitlet2 ?

Hi All,
I've just ordered this little wonder Fitlet2-E3950 :-)
I'd like to install Linux Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I do see the guidelines for installing Linux Mint 19 in the fit-pc.com/wiki, but nothing for Ubuntu. I suppose for instance that I cannot install mint-meta-codecs on Ubuntu, or can I ? I'm a bit new to Linux, so I would appreciate some guidance please.
Best regards,
GBoGBo

Linux mint is an Ubuntu based OS, hence Ubuntu OS based Linux distributions should work well on the fitlet2.
The only Linux distribution Compulab fully supports is Linux mint, fitlet2 being its official platform (Mint box mini 2).
I suggest you visit Mint or Ubuntu community websites and utilize the forum and information pages to learn more of how to operate Linux systems.

If you are new with Linux, Mint is a better choice than Ubuntu.
Mint is developed with "Microsoft Windows usage" in mind.
