The power supply provided with the fitlet2 is very bulky at the end where you have to plug it into the ac-outlet ...

I don't know how much standard "with locking 5.5/2.1 barrel" is(?)
Without locking I think most universal power supply will work.
Just be sure about polarity and 12VDC, min 3.0A
