Dual Display

Post by karlvoss »

Are there any plans for DUAL MONITOR (or even higher) support?

I use the fit-PC as a "dumb client" to my servers - all the "heavy lifting" gets done elsewhere, and the users have no idea where the computer actualy is (glued onto their monitor). I have not yet tried the USB-VGA adaptor (will in a moment), but a second DVI would be GREAT! (or a way to split DVI -> 2 monitors - or, in my wildest dreams, 3!) Big screens = good; multiple screens = great. No fancy graphics needed.

Anyway, what are the chances of a "stripped down" fit-PC with dual monitor output in any OS you care to place on it?

Thanks
karl

The Atom Z530 display interface is not multi-display friendly. There is another interface but that is LVDS which is not desktop display friendly. Anyway, LVDS is not implemented in fit-PC2.

USB based display sounds like a better bet.
