Graphics drivers

Post by djvgend1 »

Are the graphics drivers standard Intel GMA500 or modified drivers?
I downloaded the driver through Windows update after which the PC had no more graphics so I had to go through "repair"
I am running a Fit-pc2 with Windows 7 Pro.

If you mean Windows 2003: Windows XP drivers might work just fine, maybe with some editing of the .inf files -- but they could break the system, too. I think you should just give it a try. Actually I don't expect it to work flawless because Intel's psb support is really bad, even for Windows XP, and using those drivers in a version of Windows they weren't designed for wont do any good. Anyway, w2k3 is not officially supported. Please keep in mind that Windows Server systems aren't really meant for graphics, so some more advanced feature are turned off...
