How to configure screen resolution

Post by saneel_c »

Our company has purchased the TechInAbox from Israel. We have been facing resolution problem when using logmein.

We want to set screen resolution to 1024x768 but cannot change it as it is only set to 600x800

We want to know how I would be able to deploy in logmein the resolution size 1024x768 :?

From my experience, the Fit-PC2 will only allow resolutions that are available on the monitor that is connected to it. So if it's connected to a 1024x768 monitor, that's the max resolution you can set regardless of the monitor that is you are using via logmein.

Hi just wanted to know how i would be able to get 1024x768 resolution WITHOUT having a monitor plugged into the fit-pc2 and using logmein?

Currently when i use fit-pc2 with logmein. and have the monitor disconnected, i get 640x800 resolution.and i am not able to chage resolution size from display settings

i use this fit-pc2 with logmein and DON'T want a dummy monitor plugged in all the time to give me a 1024x768 resolution

I haven't got any monitor plugged into my fit-pc2 too.
My fit-pc2 is running Ubuntu Linux 9.04 Jaunty - kernel 2.6.28-14.

When I want to remote access my fit-pc2, I use open source protocoles : VNC, XDMCP, SSH -X, etc. ...
The screen resolution is always perfect (higher than 800x600).

But I haven't tested "LogMeIn" ...

If your fit-pc2 is runnning GNU/Linux, maybe could you try this to force resolution :?: :
