Boot off MiniSD

Has anyone gotten FreeBSD to boot from or even see the mini SD card?

Is it just me or is MiniSD not supported by ANYONE!, I cant find MiniSD cards and can barely find adapters to MicroSD and no one at any retail store has ever heard of it...
They Should have used standard SD or MicroSD...
