Hi,
I am the proud owner of a fit pc2 ( with 1Gb RAM) with window 7 ultimate edition. I want to migrate to fit pc2i. What are the chances that an hard drive swap will work? I don't mind about re-installing drivers, I just want to save the trouble to move all my data.
And how comes that I can't order a fit pc2i 1,6GHz diskless?
Thanks in advance!

Re: migrate fitpc2 -> fitpc2i
There is a good chance Windows will boot, unless anti-piracy mechanism in Windows kicks-in - I'm not sure about that.
fit-PC2i diskless is available at http://www.fit-pc.com/web/purchase/order-fit-pc2i/

Re: migrate fitpc2 -> fitpc2i
The diskless is listed with 1GB.
I would fancy the 2GB diskless.

Re: migrate fitpc2 -> fitpc2i
I just received my fitpc2 2Ghz today. I just switched the hard drive and eveything worked like a charm. win 7 automaticaly updated the drivers to match the new chipset.
I only had to re-authenticate microsoft office. No hidden win 7 stuff whatsoever.
