upgrade bios using win7

I am trying to create bootable usb with the provided tool, but every time I do that, the image writer crashes with error "imagewriter MFC application has stopped working". I don't have XP on any of my machines so is this tool not compliant with win7 perhaps? If so what to I do? How do I upgrade the BIOS?

Currently, the tool is not compatible with Win7. We will announce when it will be upgraded.

It contains the updated tool for creating bootable USB stick.
