Squeezing the last ounce of z510 performance on Windows 7

I have re-tested my superman installation of the z510 on Windows 7. Basically, the idea is to use the "hairshirt" version of Windows 7, the one in which the video effects are adjusted for maximum performance from the performance menu of the control panel. This yields a "non-aero" theme that resembles Windows 8. It is important to keep that theme without reverting to the usual Windows 7 "somewhat aero" theme. With that theme, you install the Intel chipset driver for best performance, alongside of the Compulab emgd and realtek audio drivers. You turn off updates. You go into the realtek audio driver and set the sound to 16-bit CD, which gives the maximum performance (I have tested this.) over any other sound settings. You use the msconfig program to turn OFF the startup intel tray programs, whose only function is to reset the resolution to a nonoptimal 1920x1080 "recommended value" on startup. 1360x768 works best as do all "medium" resolutions. You disable unused devices, such as serial ports, IR devices, but not ethernet. If you are lucky, you then have a setup capable of doing streaming flash lipsync in full screen. Or almost, a test of your further ingenuity.
The only use for google-chrome is to set the default tab of internet explorer 9 to google search so as to prevent all the "script" problems of explorer 9 when msn.com is the default tab. Afterwards, get rid of chrome, you will find out why if you don't.
Hey, Gabriel H., how about leaving this post visible to people who might enjoy playing with the fit-pc2 z510?
