You need to order -ON option (auto-on).

I have one of the older Fit-PC2 boxes, which does not boot automagically on power-on cf. http://www.fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php?title=Fit-PC2_FAQ
"Starting from May-2010 fit-PC2 and fit-PC2i support 'auto-on'. Older fit-PC2 (rev 1.21) does not boot automatically when power is resumed."

Is there any way that I can patch the older model to get the box to power up after power failure?

We just had a major power failure in Copenhagen, which made me painfully aware of this limitation :(

Hi Peter,

Unfortunately implementing the auto-on feature is factory-only change. It requires soldering an RC circuit onto power management.

Best regards,

Unfortunately this is factory-only for a reason. It is just too easy to do it wrong and brick the unit (eg by overheating the capacitor changing its value).
