What is the Maximum storage that FIT-PC2i can handle?

Post by trungle »

I would like to know if anyone has try to use 1TB hard drive for Fit-PC2i. I'm thinking about using: Western Digital WD10JPVT Scorpio Blue 2.5" Mobile Hard Drive - 1TB, SATA 3G, 5400 RPM, 8MB.

Thanks

I bought a Toshiba 1TB 2.5inch HDD, MQ01ABD100, and installed Ubuntu 11.10 server. It is working now as a server. The 1TB HDD itself does not seem to have a problem.
I guess it should be reasonable to assume that you can use it for desktop versions, too.

However, I'm still having a different problem that I can only login from SSH terminal as there is no console coming out, probably due to the display driver issue, which is not a direct topic on this thread... It really doesn't matter to me, but don't to forget to install SSH server when you are prompted to select LAMP and other applications.
It seems to be dead after the installation, but I found SSH server and Apache was working fine.
