Ok, so will this ever work in your opinion ? Are we saying that i need to install Win 7, having read about this its seems quite unstable.

In the short term I think XP is a better choice.
If Win7 RC is an indicator - Win7 will be a good option when released.

I haven't tested Windows 7 on a TV.
I'm sure there is no major issue, maybe just booting Windows 7 in VGA mode and configuring display settings manually.

Problem is irads, there is an issue.......it doesnt work? Anders site clearly shows and describes using your 42" TV as a monitor wth a HDMI connection, thats slightly misleading I think as its really the sole reason I purchased it.
