Wifi on the fit Pc2i Rev.4 z510 value

Post by vtailor »

I bought yet another value z510 to put into practice all the wonderful things I had learned. And, I installed a fresh Windows 7 and an SSD hard drive, and I turned off ethernet in the bios and turned on "DOS" and "WindowsXP" and set the graphics aperture to 128 MB.

So, now I have a fit-pc2 with a 1920x1080 (recommended) resolution using the gma500 driver as prescribed. I get that some streaming flash is using hardware decoding. And, I am on the edge of possibly discovering that the z510 does not like USB wifi dongles, and this is what causes the excess overhead on Windows 7 and Windows 8. Please someone tell me that I am wrong. Or, please someone recommend a low-overhead wifi dongle.

BTW: The SSD drive gets a performance score of 6.9 on the W7 performance rating.
