External Antenna / extension cable for Wi-fi

I'm mounting a fit-pc2 in a Rittal enclosure that will be in an industrial environment. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a signal throgh the metal enclosure. Are there any extension cable available for the antenna port? Ideally I'd like to mount an external small antenna external to the top of the enclosure.

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

Thanks..

We don't offer any antenna extensions. You may try to connect SMA to SMA-RP coaxial cable 50ohm. Of course signal will be affected by its length so for best performance you'll have to make some measurements.

The internal card would likely be a little cheaper. The key disadvantage to internal pci cards is their antenna are located very close to the metal case of the machine.
