High definition 2.0

Post by Merciless »

I was trying to find some information on the "High definition 2.0" (HDA). As far as I have been able to Google, it seems that the fit-pc doesn't have it (Picture of the connectors: http://www.ixbt.com/multimedia/intel/hd ... onnect.jpg) I would like to attach the a Fit-pc to my sound system using HDA audio.

Am I misreading the spec? All I see is normal stereo audio jacks, do i need a special cable to take advantage of the HDA? Intel HDA supports 5.1/7.1, is the fit-pc fully compatible?

Thanks

There is Realtek ALC260 codec on-board - connected to US15W HDA.
fit-PC2 brings-out analog line-out.
