Fit2, Ubuntu, WiFi, and PEAP

I asked this back in August, but didn't get any bites. I thought I'd try asking again in case there have been some new insights since then:

Does the WiFi driver for Ubuntu support PEAP (and its cousins)?

If it's purported to support it, has anyone out there successfully implemented it?
