Replacing wifi mini pci-e card

Hi,

I was wondering what is the difference between the HALF height wifi card that is installed in fitpc2 versus the FULL height avaialble mini pci-e cards out there?

Can I use the full size mini pci-e cards in fitpc2 ?? Is there some Power issue that I may run into if the card is Full height?

Technically it is possible to use full-size miniPCIe.
Warranty is void if the unit is taken apart.

Thank you. One more question on external usb ports, I just bought external dvd drive that is powered off of usb. Whenever I try to install OS , it dies in the middle. Any clues?

The USB power of fit-PC2 is usually not sufficient for external DVD.
