Can you recommend a 3g/gprs modem that has been used sucessfully with the fit-pc2?

We will need to connect an external antenna to the modem - can we do this and retain the enclosure robustness?

We haven't tried a 3g modem.
If you use the RP-SMA connector case robustness should remain the same.
