the wireless network card is set to 802.11n and we would like to configure it 802.11b

This can be done through OS.

802.11n should be fully backwards compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b, without needing any changes to enable that support.

yes i understand but we have purchased it from Israel and are using in Australia and 802.11b is the standard we use is AU. the fit-pc2 is currently configured to 802.11n and the problem we are facing is it still is acquiring network address when its on 802.11n

i would like to know why this is happening in according to you it should be working fine since it is "fully backwards compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b"

if i have to change the 802.11n to 802.11b, how do i do this, would you kindly explain the steps i have to go through
