Successful upgrade to internal bluetooth

Post by silcharde »

As soon as I got my new unit the first thing I thought of was: adding bluetooth.
I happened to a have a USB bt dongle and worked fine but with only 4 usable USB ports I had to do something and I happened (again) to have a Wifi + BT mini PCIe card and decided to try it, of course I'm not trying to encourage anyone to mess with their warranty but anyways I couldn't hold it..

I replaced the included wifi thingy with this and It works beautifully.

The whole process took me about 5 minutes, the original wifi card is to little to actually be screwed on and instead is "secured" by double-sided-tape-kind-of-something which I used to secure the new card as well ,..

This machine looks messy with that many wires sticking of its ass, just think about it:

USB Keyboard
USB Mouse
Audio Out
Power
Wifi Antennae

AT LEAST!

With internal BT you can get rid of some ,..
