Motherboard Buzzer like old computers

Post by sabrehagen »

Hi,

Does the fit-PC2 have an onboard buzzer like larger desktop computers do? If you don't understand what I mean, I'll try to describe it better. It's the buzzer that produces a beep when the computer starts, or if there is no other audio device connected. The buzzer can only play 1 basic tone and often sounds to signal an error when no keyboard or mouse are connected. I hope you understand what I mean.

The reason is that I wish to put early 1990s software on the fit-PC2 that can not interface an audio card or output it's beeps through speakers via the audio port. Hence the basic onboard buzzer is required.

Is there an onboard buzzer on the fit-PC2?

Thank you,

Jackson

Does the motherboard have the connector available but no buzzer is attached? Would it be possible to open the fit-PC2 and attach a buzzer as seen in this link after purchase? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... &indexURL=
