Shut off wifi via bios...

I have a FitPC2i (2Ghz model) with the built in wifi. I cruised the forum looking for how to disable wifi, and I found a post about disabling USB 4 in the bios. That seems to only apply to the FitPC slim. The Fit PC2i has a Pheonix bios and I don't see anything in there about how to do this.

I found something about doing it in Linux, but I am running Windows XP.

I am looking for the power saving associated with doing this. What is the best thing to do? Can I open the lid and unplug the wifi card?

BIOS does not support disabling USB so WiFi cannot be disabled this way.

I think the best way is to use Ralink UI to turn radio off.

If you'll open a lead and unplug wifi module your warranty will be void, so we strongly don't recommend such action.
