BSOD when Loading XP Pro SP2

Post by Incorporat3d »

I have always wanted one of these, now i have one :D

I have fitted a 320GB HDD after trying a 250GB and getting the same issue.
I am running a Fit2PCi with a USB adapter running a SATA DVD drive with XP Install disk....

System boots into setup, loads its stuff it normally does, goes to "Setup is Starting Windows" system then goes to load and comes up with BSOD.

Most of the time it does not list an error, on an occasion it said something about Unmountable Boot Volume or something to that effect.

What am i missing?

Unrelated: How hard is it to change my user name to Incorporat3d as i have obviously made a typing error and don't want to have to sign up for a new account if i can help it.
