How do I find out what devices are supported in the kernel?

Post by encompass »

What is the best way to know if the kernel that is installed has support for what I need? Is there a list of a .conf file that I can read from?
I am loving the new kernel, but I wonder if having the limited support for other hardware is that necessary. Is there really that much of a performance hit?

Hello,

I'm using my mobile operator USB network stick which uses UMTS/HPDPA. It doesn't work with Fit-PC.

It's a Nokia CS-15; VID 0421 and PID 0611.

Any thoughts how to get it work?
