watchdog not working?

Post by LG1 »

i got the following problem

when i install the driver in windows with the .bat file it tells me to restast the pc.
so thats all going well.

then i set the bios wacthdog to enablea,255 and run the command watchdog.exe enable 255 in windows.

this is also works

but then after 4,5 min the systems resets.
but i am working on it the systems is not crashed and no need for the watchdog to reset my pc.
tested this also when idle.

then i disable the watchdog in the bios and funny... when i do that t he software driver in windows still shutsdown the system.....
there is no point for that driver to do that because if the sofware driver is able to do that then the system is not crashed..

EDIT
sorry its a pc2 not a pc2i.. so this is in the wrong forum spot
