Post? Bios?

Post by ccrum »

I just received my PC2i and have tried powering up with two different monitors, one old CRT VGA that I use for testing and one new 22 inch LCD. Neither show that anything is connected and I get no post beeps from the unit. The USB keyboard lights do come on, as does the power led on the PC2i, but other than that, I can not tell that the device is functioning properly. Am I supposed to get a bios screen of any kind on boot up? Are there any post beeps?

Well, apparently my DVI to VGA adaptor did not work correctly. I plugged in a standard HDMI cable and it worked. But there are no post beeps which is a little discouraging. This device will be operating monitorless and it would be nice to get some indication that it has booted.

fit-PC2 has no buzzer. There are power and HDD activity LEDs that can indicate it is booting.

DVI to VGA adaptor will not work since Fit-PC2 is DVI-D only and your adapter needs DVI-I. You can use a DVI-to-VGA converter (not adapter) like HDFury. That will work.
