My friend should have fit-PC2i? I'm not sure because there is no standby support at all. We haven't success to wake the Fit-PC2i from sleep-mode.
Can you check which one he had fit-PC2 or fit-PC2i? Serial number is 101220-020. Thanks! :)

Hello dear friend

You can easily identify the version of the fitpc by checking the number of it's Ethernet ports.A FitPC2 will have one port, and a FitPC2i will have two of the Ethernet ports

Ok! Thank you. It was easy.

Then that another broblem. We send back that fit-pc2i computer to our reseller Smarto Group in Finland. Because we don,t success to get work that Wake on Lan operation. We use Win XP. There's no standby support at all. :( They said, that they send the machine to the manufacturer. That was in july. We wonder were is our fit-pc2i right now? In Smarto Group they don't answer the phone anymore and messages. :?: :?:

fit-PC2i Rev 1.2 serial number is 100521-xxx or later, so I think you have the 1.2 revision. You can also check this by Audio codec and the SuperIO controller.

For more reference please look at http://www.fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php/Fit-PC2i_Revisions

Hi again!

And thanks the answers. I'v problem in this fitPC2i. I try to use wake on lan operation, but it seems not working. Computer does't support standby mode at all. So I can't use wake on lan. I got this instuction. :|

WinXP and Win7 WOL using instructions:

1. On the target computer in Device Manager and double click on the connected network card
2. On the "Properties" window, select the tab "Power Management"
3. Set a check mark at "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby"
4. Click on "OK"
5. Continue to close all property pages.
6. Download WakeOnLanGui application from http://www.depicus.com/wake-on-lan/wake-on-lan-gui.aspx
7. On the target computer, i.e. the one to be woken up, open a command line window and enter the command: ipconfig /all
8. Note the physical address (sometimes called MAC = Media Access Control address) of your Ethernet adapter from the ipconfig output. Example: 00-01-C0-07-86-FA
9. Run WakeOnLanGui on the computer from which you want to wake the other computer and type the physical address into the proper field in WakeOnLanGui. The other two fields are filled with 255.255.255.255, and the port is 7 or actually any other port. Port 9 is sometimes used.
10. Enter the target computer to standby mode.11. Click on "Wake Me Up" button in the WakeOnLanGui application.

Note: WOL is available on fit-PC2i rev 1.2 only

So? What I should do? Standby does't work. Is this hardware problem os software? Bios is 14.9.2010. :(

Thanks!

Please try a clean Win7 install. FitPC2i fully supports standby mode

Sorry for misunderstanding. Standby supported under WinXP by FitPC2i. You don't have to use Win7 for the standby support
