PC2i wireless chipset question

Post by Dufflepod »

I have a PC2i SSD 16Gb Linux Mint, serial # 1130508-10712

I am having trouble booting the latest FreeBSD 10.1 release; it kernel panics loading the wireless driver on bootup.

So before I start shaking branches in the FreeBSD forums - I just wanted to make absolutely sure which chipset the 2i uses.

Am I right in thinking it's the USB based Ralink RT2870 in this particular model and hardware rev?

Thanks in advance.
