Hi Fly,
Thanks for the reply. MyFitPC is FitPC2 C1600-W. I am not sure about the version.
I do not know how to use the "rt3090-dkms from lucid ppa". I am new to Linux world. If you could give some instructions I can try it out.
Thanks,

Hi Denis,
I confirm that changing the appearance setting has fixed the display issues. Thanks.
The wi-fi card is not detected. I know there is no HW problem since it works on my other drive which has Ubuntu.
Shall I try to install Mint from scratch?

Hi Denis,
For some reason it worked tonight. Thanks for your help anyways.

Thanks for supporting Mint 9.
Everything works on my Fit-PC2i rev 1.2 (Z530, 1GB RAM) apart from the Ralink RT3070 USB WLAN.
On Ubuntu 10.04 installed previously, WLAN worked as per fly's description under no. 7 at the beginning of this thread:
http://www.fit-pc2.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 19&start=0.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Fixed, it was missing rt3070.bin firmware. Please make system update.

Denis,
Many thanks for the quick turn-around.
Updated to new 2.6.35-34.2 kernel.
Now, WLAN works with Mint 9 on my fit-PC2i rev 1.2.
