Installing linuxmint on SSD pc2i

Post by erichawthorne »

Are there any issues installing linuxmint on the SSD version?
-Have to do this ourselves since can't get that combination off the shelf
in low numbers.
-Where would I find instructions for any tweaks needed?
-Roughly how much of the 8GB SSD space is left over after installation of the OS?

Hi,

SSD is a 8GB unit, the operating system typically uses about 1-2GB, 1GB of swap, so, 4GB must be free in any case.
You can use the Wiki on Compulab's website to see, how to install linuxmint onto your fit-pc2.
Normally SSD just like a HDD, no need to do tricks. The H8 must work out of box.

Cheers,
István
