Letter M opens Sound Preferences

I just received a new Fit-PC with Ubuntu Mint installed. Seems to work fine except that I cannot type a lower case "m". When the lower case m is typed in any applications it opens sound preferences. This is not mapped in the keyboard shortcuts. How do I fix this?
