Is there a plan to support native SATA on fitPC2i?

The fitPC2i user guide says that the storage is using an IDE controller which is adapted to a SATA connector through a Marvell bridge.

When will the fitPC2i be shipped with a normal SATA controller AND connector? Right now I have to buy a SATA drive only to have it act as a PATA drive in the fitPC2i - needs to be addressed.

The chipset in fit-PC2i does not have native SATA, and only 2 PCIe used for 2 GbE. Native SATA is implemented in all the following products but cannot be supported in fit-PC2i.
