Hi.
How do you install XP on this computer?
I tried using a few different flash drives, all ending up broken after the first attempt.
Installing from a usb cdrom doesn't help either since it loads all the files, and then blue screens (Used 5 different cd's).
Please advise on how to install xp on this machine.

Re: How to install XP
In order to install the Windows XP, you have set the SATA controller to the IDE mode in the BIOS Setup.
What version of the BIOS is installed on your system?

Re: How to install XP
HI
I have tried this setting, xp will copy the files to the hdd, then blue screen when the setup needs to start, I have tried all those settings in all combinations without any luck, it looks like it needs a driver for the setup, but i cant find one anywhere.
I have a normal and a sdd drive, bit it wont install on either.
I know its not the disks, because I could install xp on 3 other computers without any problems.

Re: How to install XP
Hi
Found the problem, it was the USB CDROM, changed it with a normal non enclosed SATA CDROM using a USB converter cable.
Hope this helps someone else.
