Remote Desktop from FitPC3i to Windows Server RDS

Thinking of using a Linux-based FitPC3i as a dual-monitor system to remote into a Windows Server running RDS (Remote Desktop Services / Terminal Services) and/or accessing Remote Apps on that RDS server.

May have about 20-30 of these eventually on manufacturing plant floor hitting the RDS.

Is anyone using these FitPCs this way? How's it work for you? Any tips or guidelines on setting up either the FITPC or the RDS system?

Thanks

Please clarify - do you plan to use the fit-PC3i with Linux to connect other remote system running Windows? I don't see any problems with that in terms of HW. I am not familiar however with the level of interoperability between Linux and Windows.
(BTW, fit-PC3i doesn't support Windows Server).

I was referring to using Linux to remote desktop to Windows, via something like rdesktop or Remmima (I think that's the program's name).

I know this works from Linux now, just wondering if anyone bothers to do this, but probably looking at a different solution now anyway so if I get any other feedback it may be useful later.

Thanks :geek:

We don't have experience with such setup. Maybe you could find some help on Linux community forums.
