Fit-PC face module with severe packet loss

Hi,

To begin, I bought my Fit-PC with the face module containing 4 gige ports and 4 usb ports. I've had this since it was first released in this model and been happy with it - but I only used one of the face ports (I really only needed two gig-e ports but the model with 2 was not available at the time)

Recently, I've noticed that at least one of the other ports, which I had previously never used, has severe packet loss. 1 in 6 packets drops - consistently. This is while running pfsense, so freebsd 8.3. Since these are intel 100/1000 gig ports, according to pfsense, I don't know that it would be a driver issue.. those drivers are pretty stable.

Since I'm almost certainly well past any sort of implied waranty or otherwise what I'd like to know is if these face modules are at all replaceable. Id like to, now, bridge all these interfaces together to act as more of a switch but as at least one of these ports is useless it presents a usability problem.

If anyone has any insight to this it would be appreciated.

Matt

Your fit-PC3 is definitely within warranty period so if it is found to be a HW problem it can be repaired or replaced.
Is the problem specific to a single port?
Did you try crossing with another port to ensure it is not a cable or switch problem?
Is the drop rate similar on light and heavy load?
