Newbie question - eSATA

Post by firedog »

Bought an external eSATA drive to go with my Intense PC.

I understand I need a special eSATA cable (not like an internal SATA cable) to connect the drive? Is this correct?

And do I need a Male to Male cable, or some other type?

thanks

Gabriel-

Sorry to be a nudnik, but is this:
http://www.dc-tech.co.il/Product.aspx?ProductID=3562

the same type? It's called eSATA data, male to male.

I need to know exactly what to buy b/c it isn't something I can get in a local store and I can't return it once it is bought and opened.

thanks
