BIOS SATA Device Type

Post by Kyle »

Hello, I have a question regarding this BIOS setting.

I have the choice between Solid State Drive and Hard Disk Drive.

Of course I know what to choose, but I am wondering what difference it makes.

Thanks in advance for answering!

Regards,
Kyle

This setting intended to optimize the SSD performance (like avoiding unnecessary write cycles). You should turn it on if you going to use an SSD drive.
