Hello,
We want to activate the intense PC (startup) using an external (extended) power switch. We noticed the unit is powered on whenever it is disconnected and reconnected to the electrical power grid. Is this a basic feature of the device? Can we use that feature by connecting the PC to a 12 Volts DC external switch? Following a conversation with Rona (CompuLab rep.), she mentioned Intel's Virtualization Technology. How does it relate to the issue above?
Thank you,

External Power Switch Activation
Re: External Power Switch Activation
You can use power switch to turn the Intense PC off and back on.
Intel AMT available with Intense PC Pro can be used to remotely reset the computer.

Thanks,
We don't want to use the incorporated switch but rather extended a line to another custom-made switch. Do you see any problem with that?

Re: External Power Switch Activation
Sorry I was not clear enough. What you can do is cut the AC power to the computer power supply and then resume it. So the answer is yes, you can build the system as you intended.

Dear Irad,
Thanks you very much for your support. Can you provide us with a contact number and/or email of the person in charge of technical support for the Intense-PC in case we would encounter future problems/queries ?
Best regards,
Zachi

Support is given through this forum.
Businesses can purchase a technical support contract, but this does not make sense to end users.
