PC doesn't power on

Hello,

I own a IPC-C3517V-WB-FM4U device and suddenly it stopped working. It doesn't output anything on the display.
I tried to remove the memory, tried memory from another PC (i have couple of them) with no luck. Tried to remove/change HDD as well.

Is there anything I can do for repair, or, at least, to diagnose the failure?

Thanks

Please post the serial number of the unit (found on label at the bottom side).
If possible check the DisplayPort interface to identify if it is a system failure or HDMI interface problem.
If you ability to access the Intense PC through network it would be helpful to identify whether it is a display or system problem.

Thanks for the answer.

Will post a serial a bit later, I don't have the unit with me right now.
Well, it does power on. But not always. It may power on, and may not. It may not power on even after CTRL+ALT+DEL.
So sometimes the num lock just blinks for a second and nothing happens.
In other cases (after removing and giving power back for 1-2 times) it boots as usual.

By the way, what's the working temperature of the unit?

The serial is 1120905-01070, p/n: C3517v-WB-FM4U.

Yesterday I updated BIOS to latest version, after update it started to blink the main "intense pc" led, and then powered on after a while.
But still the same problem - If I restart or power off - it doesn't power on in most cases.
It's not a video problem for sure, because the num lock doesn't go on as well.
I tried to disconnect everything - but it doesn't help at all.

Strange that if it powers on - it works fine, untill next restart.

Please advise.

Please verify your operating temperatures:

Do you able to power up every time when you disconnect and after 4 seconds reconnect the power supply?

Hi mbirger.

No, I'm not able to power on even after disconnecting for 4 seconds or even 10 seconds.
I couldn't find any logic in powering on.
btw the pc was powered on on friday and works fine till now, it's not hot at all.

So the problem lies in power on sequence only.

If you cannot power on after you disconnect/connect the power supply, please consider RMA.

Can I ship PCB only? Housing will be expensive to ship due it's weight.

No, it's impossible. The product should be shipped as is, due to technical (thermal coupling between the CPU and case) and warranty reasons.
