reduce the electrical consumption

Post by ploubaz22 »

I am looking to reduce the electrical consumption of fitlet pc IA10
the fitlet runs on windows 7 x86
in the setup I have reduced the TDP but this does not change much
I also try to invalidate the sound as well as the serial port card

the best I get is a conommation of 7w

there may be another parameter that I can act

thank you

You can disable any HW that is not a must, either via BIOS or via OS settings.

ihave disable serial port and sound card
For processor in the setup i have reduce to 2 hearts and the power reduce to 4200

I made a measure at amperemeter and I find 800 mA

Do you have other ideas to reduce consumption

I made measurements of current consumption on the pc fitlet

If I put a bar of 4 G I fitlet consumes 140 mA less than with a bar of 8G

What is strange when I stop the pc I have a current of 180 to 200 mA

The fitlet pc in operation I arrive at a consumption of 380 mA with 4 G Ram and SSD 500 G
but 180mA when the fitlet was stop that makes a lot

This is correct.
It is also stated on fitlet spec - operation from 4.5W, which corresponds to 380mA at 12V.
