Cable question to plug a LCD screen

Post by advid »

I've read many topics here and I'm still confused...

Fit-PCi has DVI-D output with an hdmi connector. Ok.

1) Do I need to buy a specific hdmi-dvi cable to plug any lcd screen with dvi connector ?

2) Can I use a standard hdmi-hdmi cable to plug a lcd screen ?
(which has vga,dvi and hdmi interface)

3) What can of cable do you use, is there any cable/screen mix I should avoid to make it work properly ?
(general advice)

1. fit-PC2 is sold with HDMI to DVI adapter so you need a DVI-DVI cable to connect to a DVI LCD.
2. HDMI to HDMI will work.
3. Normally there are no issues. See http://www.fit-pc2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=953
