Unattended FitPC2 switching to low screen resolution

Post by systec »

I want to run the FitPC2 as unattended with no screen connected. I have installed Windows XP Pro SP3 successfully and all works fine so long as a VGA monitor is connected. As soon as the monitor is disconnected or powered off the screen resolution changes to 640 x 480, which makes it difficult to control remotely due to window size. Has anybody had success with XP, or is this a 'feature', any advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks, I chose the GMA driver as IEGD looked so complicated - CED, VBIOS tec. Do you know where a paper exists to explain the installation - I cannot find anything on the Intel website.
