@Evilworm,
That is some good news!
Would the same go for the Fitpc2 miniPCIe wifi chipset (RT3090) ?
I'm looking for a way to get that into master mode, without much luck.
I ended up with the same results you described in your earlier post (the 5 steps).
(none of the drivers I found seemed to support master mode)

Could you list what steps one would have to follow to get this working?
(or how I could achieve this on my fitpc2)

The driver is in mainline kernel 2.6.39+ . However the system tends to hang once a day without any dumps. Not sure why that is happening, but I suspect that it might be the wifi driver bug. It was working without crashes @ 2.6.37-wl, but I had to upgrade because of some other issues.
