BIOS update procedure

  1. Prepare FAT formatted USB Disk-on-key
  2. Download the latest IPC2 BIOS ROM files
  3. Unzip and copy 3 files to the root directory:
    • IPC2.cap
    • startup.nsh
    • ShellFlash64.efi
  4. Power on IPC2, enter BIOS by pressing F2. Go to "Boot Features" and set "Legacy Boot" to "Disable"
  5. Check on the "Boot" tab that inserted USB listed as first boot device, otherwise change the boot order accordingly
  6. Go to "Exit" and press "Exit Saving changes"
  7. Power off the system, insert prepared USB disk into IPC2 and ensure no other USB devices connected and then power on again
  8. IPC2 will start and BIOS update will take place after second restart
  9. Wait until message "BIOS is updated successfully. Press any key to continue ..."
  10. Remove USB disk and press ENTER
  11. System may do several power cycles and then boot normally
