fit-VGA with intense PC

Post by pj_systech_swe »

Is fit-VGA supposed to work with intense PC out of the box?

I get the windows logo and the "Starting Windows" message and then the screen turns black and then i get a "No signal detected" message from the display. If I boot into Safe Mode fit-VGA works as expected, but not with a normal boot. I have tried multiple displays from diffrent manufacturers and they all behave the same.

I have installed the drivers from the download link (http://www.fit-pc2.com/download/Intense ... 7/drivers/).

Fit-VGA is unsupported on the IntensePC series. FitVGA will work only with a drivers that are not depended on a DCC data. Please refer to http://www.fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php/Co ... an_fit-PC2 for an additional information.

@Gabriel
How you tested / found any HDMI/DisplayPort adapter to VGA that works out-of-the-box on Intense PC?

Thanks.

Thanks.

We have tested the following DisplayPort to VGA converter and can confirm that this is working with Intense PC:

My company have a industrial PC that connect on a VGA touch screen, the embedded computer is dead, so we buy a intense pc to replace it. I try to make it work with the fit vga cable but after "Starting Windows" message it come dark, it is exactly the problem above. If I connect a HDMI screen and then the fit cable, it work but it is the same after a reboot (all black). I know this is because the display reports to be analog, but the computer output is digital. I try a lot of things, nothing work. I also unistall the driver (I'm on W7_32), try the amd_edid.bat that I found on this forum. Can someone help me?

I would suggest the DisplayPort to VGA converter I have mentioned above. We have tested this to work with Intense PC.

I have the one sold by your company http://www.fit-pc.com/web/fit-pc/accessories/fit-vga/ Hopefully I buy 2 of them ( one of them isn't working). If I uninstall grafics drivers I let the VGA standart it work I can reboot and the screen is working, but it stuck in 600x480 resolution. I continu to try différent drivers, the ones on your website doesn't work... (it work with a DVI screen).

I solve my problem by installing a usb to vga card:

http://www.startech.com/AV/USB-Video-Ad ... SB2VGAPRO2

I have to install the driver with a hdmi screen. Whit this card the VGA monitor start working when the operating system start (I don't see the bios). yeah it is 90$ but to save a 1000$ touch screen it worth the cost.
